The 6th grade students in Mr Hoppen's class used marshmallows
and toothpicks to build models of water molecules, connected them with tissue to
demonstrate frozen water, and then broke one of the large marshmallows apart
to demonstrate nuclear fission. No word yet on whether the science students then ate the products of nuclear fission. (But if you look at Kevin in the photo below, you might suspect he's had one too many molecules!)
